Performing a seat computer reset worked for me and fixed my easy entry/exit issue. (2005 C55, been 3 weeks and working fine, so I wanted to share the process to reset it with everyone.) Perform while outside vehicle with drivers door open: 1. If the seat motor is not letting the seat move via up or down the memory will not work for that seat. Check to see if the seat moves in all directions by manually making the seat move with the buttons controls. This will tell at least where the problem is. Three months later drain returned and isolated this to the passenger seat controller. Made this fix (cable colouring slightly different) and all is well. Seat adjustment functional with key on. Seat memory position works OK. Only function noticed not working is the convenience entry which you would expect as power not flowing while key off. There are fuses located on the bottom of the fusebox. 1. Release the two latches, located on both sides of the fusebox. 2. Raise the inboard side of the fusebox from the cradle. 3.
